America's Song for Iraq

Here is our Iraq War song, paraphrased from a certain play about 30 years ago.

Our beleagured soldiers singing to Dubya:

We've been living to win here.
Dying to win here, but it shouldn't be like this.
This was unexpected,
What do we do now?
Could we start again please?

Chaney singing to Dubya:

I've been very hopeful, so far.
Now for the first time, I think we're going wrong.
Hurry up and tell me,
This is just a dream.
Oh could we start again please?

Pelosi singing to Dubya:

I think you've made your point now.
You've even gone a bit too far to get the message home.
Before it gets too frightening,
We ought to call a vote,
So could we start again please?

America singing to Dubya:

We've been living to win there.
Dying to win there, but it shouldn't be like this.
This was unexpected,
What do we do now?
Could we start again please?

Dubya singing to Iraq:

I think you've made your point now.
You've even gone a bit too far to get the message home.
Before it gets too frightening,
You ought to call a vote,
So could we start again please?

Could we start again please? (Repeat for 5 more years)

Rocky Balboa singing to the world:

Could we start again?
